Okay ladies (and Cha;)) finally figured it out! 23 days later! Anyway, still no pro pics yet. So these will have to do for now.
My wedding went off beautifully. It was on Sunday, April 21st. Here's a brief recap:
Fri: rehearsal. This actually went off pretty well. Everyone was on time... Except me:(( I had a massage scheduled this morning and I highly recommend it. It was awesome! BUT when it was time to do my nails, I was told the girl was running like an hour behind and I had to be at rehearsal in about an hour and a half, so had to go elsewhere...but turned out perfect and then discovered I had to pick up one of the little girls for rehearsal, so had to detour for that and I was last person there, but thank God my coordinator had already started the show and we did two run throughs and we were good to go! My dad cried at rehearsal wen it came time to 'giving me away' BUT he held it together for ceremony. Love that man!
Saturday: rehearsal dinner was beautiful. My sisters, and family did a great job organizing this and we opted to include out of towners and that made for a rather large crowd, but am glad we did, because we got to visit with many family members who we couldn't have had time to talk to on the big day. After dinner, discovered that our wooden letter guest book was NOT going to be ready! Honestly! I was not happy coz hubby was supposed to have done this and he kept saying its under control. So I did my eyeroll and kept it moving. Of equal stress- our ceremony and cocktail were set to be outdoors and Indiana weather wasn't having any of that!! My coordinator (God bless her) was driving me crazy asking what we wanted to do, it was supposed to be sunny but low 60s, we chose to keep it outdoors...read below on more on that (eyeroll). The bridal party was supposed to be spending night at venue...about an hour drive from where most of us were....and we had planned to be there at 9pm....long story short people were having ALL sorts of amnesia and just plain driving me crazy...we got there almost 1am!!! Seriously!
Hubby calls me at 2:30 am talking about he had to turn around because his best man left the rings. Ha!!! I was finished, finally managed to snooze sometime around 3.
Sunday (the big day): I had an early start. Was up by 6.. U do the math of how much or how little sleep I got...my face was NOT happy. Showered and had some along time with God, and that calmed all my nerves. My hair dresser was there by 7 and got right to work. My MUA was there about 8:30 and worked her magic and it was just a roller coaster from there next thing, photographers and videographer started coming in....took some shots with my girls and then I got dressed. I was sooo glad everyone was done on time. But for reasons I still don't understand today, ceremony started 30 mins late. About the weather. It was gorgeous sunny, but COLD. Ladies I couldn't feel my toes when we were all done with photos. Yes, I sure did get sick the week of my honeymoon....BUT everything was gorgeous...from the pomanders I made for our ceremony, to my mother's handiwork in our bouquets and the bouts, to the gorgeous reception...I was just sooo blessed to have people who love us work double time behind the scenes to make it all work. Not once did we have to deal with any questions the day of and that was a blessing. I will sharers pics wen. I Get em. For now, enjoy these. Married life is good.
