Wedding Woes

Mornin'

Happy Tuesday.

Anything fun going on today in your neck of the woods?

Nothing here.  The kiddo has his second guitar lesson this evening. I'm hoping DH is home in time to take him.  I need to run to Target with DefConn because we're low on diapers.  I also need to start prepping for our weekend trip to Mammoth Cave.

Breaking the swaddle is not going well in our house.  Max has his 6 month appointment today.  He also thoroughly enjoys sweet potatoes.

That Fisher Price sale has prompted me to start Christmas/bday lists for everyone.

  • I'm taking the kids to see Monsters University later this morning.

  • I need to get on the Christmas train early this year. I always say that, but I'm really going to try to do it this year.

I need to get on the Christmas train early this year. I always say that, but I'm really going to try to do it this year.
My kids never get summer stuff- 6let is too late and M2 too early.  They don't have beach towels or any outdoor games.  So the plan is to try to hit some clearance either  after the 4th or Labor Day.
  • Tonight I have a skype interview with a recruiter (she works remotely from Hawaii). I made it through after a phone interview last night. Hopefully, I can actually get in front of her client and get a new job!
  • Meh.  I really want to run outside after work, then lift heavy.  (blahblahblah)

I also need to clean the house, do laundry, make a yummy dinner...and find some beer to drink.  That is not in order of importance.
  • Just got home from the gym. I'm over all the all people gawking at me while I'm there.

Doing some work and then picking up Baby A at camp. We may go to the grocery store after. Then it's home for lunch and nap. More work for me. And I should probably figure out if H will be coming home for dinner tonight.

  • Eh, its the ladybits doc this afternoon. i think tonight is a fvckeffort night for dinner, so maybe work on DDs play kitchen, write up a good cover letter for resume, maybe tweak another doc I have for work-related "this is what this group should be doing"...IDK, it's Tuesday :-/

  • It's too early to tell how crazy work will be, but if I leave with enough energy I want to work on bouquets tonight and then go for a walk with FI...

  • Working, practicing guitar and lifting weights. Ho hum.

  • Apparently my pelvis is literally falling apart and I have symphysis pubis dysfunction. I am sleeping in about 2-3 hour increments, Tylenol doesn't help, and giving birth is pretty much the only thing that will make it better as its because of hormones. I have 22 weeks left.
  • @loveshine1 people gawking because OH NOES a pregnant lady is WORKING OUT!?!?!

    That is so silly.  *eyeroll*
  • I'm apparently nothing but a crabby judgemental ball of crazy lately.  I'm crying at commercials on the radio and I hate people.

  • Oface, I really don't get it either. Especially the people who are 55+. The younger people and the trainers don't seem to be as into staring at me.

It's not like I'm running 10 miles on the treadmill. I'm walking or doing the elliptical or lifting weights. I'm not squatting 200lbs or anything even close.

  • Even if you chose to do 10 miles...it's not like it's your first rodeo.
  • But loveshine you also have to remember that the decorum back when those 50+ y.o. ladies were teh pregnants.  You wore clothing that "hid" your condition, and indulged in completely lackluster anything.
  • That is true. My MIL is still under the impression that lifting anything heavy will cause your water to break and that my water broke last time because I was in Body Pump, which I had done throughout my whole pregnancy.

  • Oh brother.  I'll be that lady (with any luck) that is out running with a 7+ mos baby bump and people will gooseneck everywhere.
  • If you feel good, do it. You know your body and you know how to take care of yourself. Your body is used to running. If you're anything like me, you'll have to get used to taking lots of pee breaks though.
