Today is one of those days where I went out for lunch and had no motivation whatsoever to come back into my office!  Who is doing something fun and getting to actually enjoy this gorgeous day? (At least, in NY it's gorgeous)  I want to live vicariously through you.

    I went shopping this morning, but ditto Court. It's really humid here today, so I'm not in the mood to really be outside in it.

    Based on where I work. . . . I am so glad that the ice cream man doesn't come by here.  I don't even want to imagine the craziness that would bring.

    I never understand why he goes by at this time during the school year as well. The kids are not out of school yet at this time, so I don't see how this is the most profitable time.

    The weather here sucks right now.  It's beyond humid (I think humidity has been in the 90% range, which for us in a PITA).  We've had random awful t-storms for the past 3 days, and it's all supposed to last until next Monday.  Eff Vermont and it's weather that can't make up its mind.

    I think Courtania is on to something legit talking smack about the ice cream man.  I don't know about other states, but in NY it is illegal to drive an ice cream truck if you are a sex offender. . . . The legislature must not trust them either, lol.

    Well that makes sense to me, because it's basically a big kid-magnet. However, when I lived in another nearby city, it was common knowledge that you could get ice cream, pot, popsicles or ecstasy from the ice cream man.

    Hot and humid here too, but I don't have A/C so I'm outside because it's cooler than in my house. Cats are out here on leashes with me, they love it. I also went swimming in my mom's pool earlier, which was nice.

    Warm here, but not quite crazy hot.  It's finals week, but I don't teach core, so I don't supervise exams and I have no tutorials to run in the afternoon.  My report cards are done.  I've started planning for next year and read my Kindle for a good hour waiting for the bell to ring so I could leave.  So boring, but I'm also not complaining about having some free time at work for a change

    Not sure where in NY you are, OP, but my part of NY is disgustingly hot and humid.  I'm dreading leaving the office.  My dinner last night was salad and popsicles.

    Long Island. . . . it's like 90 out there.  With that being said, i'm glad to have seasons. . . . I ate dinner at the beach last night, refusing to cook because of the heat.  I'm trying to embrace the summer because we have so many people that whine and complain that it's too cold in February, then whine and complain that it's too hot in June, lol.

    Right now we are experiencing perfect beach weather!

    It IS perfect beach weather.  I wish I was nearer the ocean- central NY here.  I don't do well with heat and humidity.  Last week was perfect- high 70's and gorgeous.  I love the seasons, too, and only whine about snow when I can't get out of my driveway.
