RSVP'S AND RECEPTION CARDS

ok, these little cards sure are expensive!!
I got my invitations on weddingpaperdivas.com that are AWESOME!!!
But all the matching cards to go with them are so expensive so I just thought I could get those elsewhere.
My Ceremony and Reception are in 2 different locations but literally 1/2 block away on the same street.
The invitations just say "dinner and dancing to follow" at the bottom and there wasn't room to put the location of the reception so I know I should probably add a reception card.

So my questions is....if we are having light snacks, beer and wine for the "cocktail hour", would I still put "Join us for cocktails, dinner and dancing" if I'm only serving beer and wine?

Re: RSVP'S AND RECEPTION CARDS

  • I think so. I know I would personally never feel like it was a "bait and switch" if you didn't have textbook definition "cocktails." To me, "cocktails" means alcohol.

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

Should be fine, so long as there's not a cash bar for the other items. I'd probably use "drinks" instead of "cocktails" if I had to choose.

  • I'd say 'drinks, dinner and dancing'. We are also only serving beer and wine at our reception.
