Need undergarments...any suggestions?

I am getting married in July. I have Maggie Sottero off shoulder dress. I am a size 20/22. I need a strapless body suit (compression) garment. I would prefer one that goes onto the thighs a little. Any suggestions? I have yet to find one. Thanks, Rose

my suggestion is to go with a longline bra & shaping high waisted shorts. my bra is from goddess (which ran a cup size large) and my shapewear shorts are from RAGO. i had spanx, but the rago are SOOOOO much more comfortable and have a hook/zipper combination so no wiggling involved

I wear Colombian girdles. The best brand so far is Vedette and you can buy it from Amazon.com. They do run small; I'm a size 10/12 in my mid section and I have to buy a L or XL. I tried buying a M and it rides up in the back if it's too small.

Note that these are not "cute" if you want nice corset type undergarment; just change into it at the hotel.

I have what's called a Squeem (http://squeem.net/squeem)

And I am wearing that, a regular strapless bra, and a pair of Spanx over the Squeem (haha!) I have NEVER had more of a hourglass shape than when I am wearing the Squeem. It is FANTASTIC

You'd be surprised at how awesome the no name brand ones at Walmart and Dillards are. Personally I find Spanxx expensive and I when I had NYE party and was in a last minute panic I went to walmart and got a bra to knee combo with a button/hook crotch for bathroom breaks.

Where is the best place to get a long line bra? I'm getting married in September, and need to find one. My concern is finding one where the cups actually fit and aren't too big. For whatever reason, I never have a problem with buying regular bras in my size, but with my strapless, the cups are always big. Is there a store that has them, or just an online thing?

The bra comes in tomorrow so I'll let you know how it does. I'm not sure if the straps are removable or if needed, either.

I returned the Lane Bryant one after trying it on at the store -- didn't even take it home. It's not really long at all and made the girls look really weird.
