Unique recipe cards

My fiance and I are giving away a coveted family recipe (and one that is popular in the family and has become something of a legend) as our favor, along with one of the treats later in the evening, which will be brought out as people start to leave, as a treat for the way home. The recipe should be at everyone's place when they sit down to dinner. The question is - what form should this take? I don't want to just print a lame 3x5 recipe card. I've thought of a nicely designed magnet...but am not sure if that's also lame. Help!

I'll share the recipe for frozen PB Pop treats with the person who gives the winning idea!

Depending on how extensive and lengthy the recipe is, could you write it out on a fatter craft stick that resembles a popsicle stick? Could you tuck a recipe card into plastic popsicle molds, or write it out on a popsicle die cut shape?

Why not attach the recipe to the treat? You could attach it on a cute card, with a ribbon in your wedding color, or something like that.

The treat needs to be frozen, and then put on ice (we are getting married at the end of August) so I am worried about putting the recipe on the treat itself.

Ahhh. Yeah... that would suck if the treat melted all over the card. Maybe do the card in a shape of a popsicle. Or do it as a rectangle and then glue it to a painted popscile stick.

I think a magnet would be a great idea.. I am looking at my fridge right now and I have all my "favorite" recipes hanging up there. It is easy to access, not easily misplaced (obviously because it is stuck on there ha!) and it's a reminder of "hey I need to cook that really awesome X!" We ordered our STD's off of Vistaprint, they were very very reasonably priced! I am positive that you could just write out the recipe on there, and people would really enjoy it! Also, there's another place- agiftfulheart.com that has magnets that you can customize! Also, annsbridalbargains.com is another place that has a wonderful, and very reasonably priced magnet selection.

Do you make this treat using a special pan, or utensil (like a spatula) etc...? If so, you could attach the recipe to something you use while making the recipe. You could also put the recipe in a jar or other container and dress it up with your wedding colors. You could always pick pretty paper to print the recipe on and then laminate it to protect it. Or, you could make your own small recipe books to include as favors with the recipe included in it...You could make something like the picture shows-- or get a small three ring notebook (could probably get a t a local Dollar Store) to create the recipe book.
