Hey ladies,

I have a few questions as my big day draws near that maybe ya'll can help me with.

Did/are you using/used a different song from your processional than for your bridal party?

I know this may sound like a carzy question, but did you have recessional and postlude songs?

Since the big day is in the summer (outside ceremony), I'm not requring the bridesmaids to wear panty hose. Do you think it's wrong for me to require that they shave they legs?

Did/is you whole bridal party doing a toast, or are/did yo have the bestman do it?

Thanx ladies! I'm just starting to feel a little stressed. I have a BM that's just now deciding to act flaky....I can't belive she's deciding to do this 26 days before the wedding. I keep having dreams of nothing going right. On top of that I started my Master's program two months ago.

    Anjee23 O MY you are around the corner from the big day LITERALLY.... first calm down it is what it is when it comes to the BM that wants to act up i wouldnt stress it, if she wants to be there she will if not then hey all you really need is one witness your families, the pastor and your man!.. O AND CONGRATS ON STARTING YOUR MASTERS PROGRAM, YOU DO HAVE ALOT ON YOUR PLATE BUT IM SURE YOU CAN HANDLE IT!!!

    As far as the songs go hopefully another Bride can comment on that i havent even thought of any processional songs or anything like that (i still got time so thats the farthest thing on my mind LOL sorry) 

    And as far as the BM legs, i mean i wouldnt stress about there legs (hopefully none of them have a full head of hair on their legs LOL) but i would let them be the judge, considering any close up pics wont really show legs to good id let it ride..thats one less thing you should concentrate on (IMO of course)

    And the toasting i think thats really up to you and what you want, i say that because some ppl can be soo long winded with speeches and you dont want to sit there through a long BP trying to give a toast so id keep it short and simply...the Best Man and the MOH and maybe any one of the parents...DONE lol

    Misstira LMAO at the full head of hair o the legs. Your're right about the BM....I'm not even gonna let her stress me. I'll just sit back and see what she does. If she acts a donkey...I'll just deal with her afterward.

    I'm going to follow your advice about the toasting so everyone and they momma aren't toasting. LOL

    -I did use a diferent song than the bridal party

    - I did a recessional song

    - Nope, not wrong at all. I think yu should just say "hey ladies remember to shave your legs"

    - I had 3 Best Men & 3 MOH they all did a toast but noone else in the BP

    -Congrats on starting on your masters!!! Sorry that your BM is acting flacky, dont let her stress u this close to your BIG day! Everything will be awesome!

    Did/are you using/used a different song from your processional than for your bridal party? -using 3 different songs 1 for groom, groomsmen and officiant parents and special guests. 1 for bridal party, RB and FG. 1 for me. did you have recessional and postlude songs? - we are having a recessional song. Do you think it's wrong for me to require that they shave? I would only say something if they are wearing short dresses. My girls are, but I been slick looking at their legs all summer checking for "full heads of hair". If I see an issue I'm going to include a razor and shave cream in their gift. Ijs Did/is you whole bridal party doing a toast, or are/did yo have the bestman do it? Best man, 1 MOH , and my dad. He insists on a speech. Hope I'm not too embarrassed. @misstira I'm over dying laughing.

    For me I am going to have one song for the parents and family and all that jazz, 1 song for the whole bridal party and then one song for me and I am going to have the fg & RB walk before me and I am thinking that they will start walking with no music and when they get half way down the aisle My song will start

    Thanx ladies! I think I'm going to do three songs. The parents will have a song. BMs, RB, FGs will have a song. Then me. It's going to be outside so I don't want the guests to have to sit for too long.

    I think I'm going to keep the toasting to the Bestman.

    I just started my masters 2 months ago and my wedding is in 4 days. I am having 3 songs. Groomsmen and his parents and bestman and my mom to 1 then wedding party to 1 and then me to the last song. And I am having a recessional song. My maid of honor and his groomsmen have scheduled toast and anyone else who wants to toast can.

    They need to shave their legs!!!!! They cannot show up looking like wildebeasts! I don't know how you gonna tell them though. maybe tell everyone you're waxing and ask them what they doing and when they shaving. p.s. WHY wouldn't someone shave their legs?? i'm trying to wrap my brain around that.

    I never cared about hair on a woman's legs. So long as I don't notice it, it's fair game. Then again, my FI actually shaves his legs (which I will never understand), so to each, their own.

    We're having the same song for the procession of our honored attendants, me and my FI. We were at a friend's wedding who had three songs for the procession and the DJ did nothing to blend the beats together. So, as he or she changed songs, it came across as choppy to the audience. Each song began and ended abruptly. To eliminate that choppiness, we're marching on one song (and if I can find the sheet music to it, we'll have someone sing it live).

    After the ceremony, we have an upbeat song to leave. We're going with Beyonce's "End of Time" (FI allowed me only one Beyonce song during the ceremony.).

    Personally, I like having just a few personal toasts. Once we are full of appetizers and drinks, I don't mind the break in hearing people talk while I sit. It's probably the longest time sitting one will ever have during his or her wedding day.
