  Sorry, I would probably laugh if I saw bridesmaids carrying watering cans, or if I was asked to carry one as a bridesmaid.

  Why not have the watering cans with flowers in them along the aisle?

  Agreed with Addie and Liatris. You don't have to incorporate everything about you into your wedding.
  
  I think it would be neat if you grew the flowers they will carry.

  I made those as centerpieces for a baby shower I threw, and they went over really well (they were all taken home by guests), but I woudn't want to carry one as a bridesmaid.  I agree with PPs, they're great for centerpieces and decor, but a little hokey to be carried by bridesmaids.

  As PPs have suggested, it could be cute for a flower girl or as a centerpiece, but I think it would look odd if the BMs were carrying watering cans.
