Invitation wording

Getting my invitation wording done now and curious if anyone adds their middle names to the invitations. Was thinking of just the first and last names.

i *think* i had our middle names on there. and an invitation that i just got in the mail definitely had middle names on it. but i dont think you have to by any means...

I don't have a middle name, I have two first names, my Mom thought my name would be to long with a middle name. So we put my whole first name (Anne Marie) and DH's first and middle name on the invite along with our last names. It looked nice!

We used middle names on ours. And both parents helped pay so we did both parents sets on them too...I can get specific wording if you need it!

P.S. Just stopped in after a LONG break from the boards, but quite bored at work today ;-) Hope wedding planning is going well for all!

i put my middle name, and FI does not have one, but his firstname is pretty long so it didnt look bad.

We're using our middle names to. I thought it looked nicer on the invitation for some reason. I guess its just what you like better. Also all the invitations but one I've received had there middle names too. HTH

We used our middles names in our invitations. We thought it looked more formal, and FI is "the third" so we put that in there too.

I used full names for us, it was at my fathers request that I used my full name, I didn't have any problems with it so I did.

Ditto. I plan on using mine (FI does not have one). I just saw a wedding invite my IL's were invited to and middle names were on there.

We didn't use our middle names...or our last names, which I took flack on the boards for, but we had a small wedding and everyone knew whose wedding it was.

We plan on using our middle names, but I did just receive an invitation that only used middle initial.
