I am new to the boards and wanted to introduce myself, since it seems like there's a ton of great comments and advice here! My name is Kate and my fiance, Erick, and I are getting married on 1/8/11 at the Riverview in Simsbury. Hope to talk to a bunch of you soon

Wow, thanks everyone - what a warm welcome!!

Things we still have to do: pick a band or DJ, bridesmaids dresses, find a hairdresser, limo, and room block. Everything else is done so we're just enjoying the planning.

Can't wait to share these exciting times with everyone!
