Urbane Wedding Company Videography

Does anyone have experience with Urbane Wedding Company?  They are nation-wide and their prices can't be beat but I'm very nervous based on my previous research.  I can't even find them in the Better Business Bureau.  Does anyone have a legitimate experience with them?

    i worked with Urbane last June for my wedding. my photographers, danny and jacob were attentive wedding photographers. if your wedding date is six months to a year out id highly suggest you book them right away. not playing. their actions speak louder than words. i personally am big on personality and you can just simply tell a lot about a person from the way they carry themselves. both danny and jacob impressed me with their character, personality, wit and humor. they had a spectactular grasp on how to shoot our wedding, and i knew after our conversation, we'd give them the down payment. one of the best decisions i made, they were just as good in our meeting towards the wedding as they were during the wedding. they definitely made us feel special. pictures are first class, great editing. very very well worth the price. that was almost a year ago for me. for what i got, considering what i paid, it's a no brainer imho. good luck!

    Hello! Maybe someone who looks at this question can help us. We go married on June 22. We booked our videography through Urbane Wedding Company. They took 50% of our money. The communication was very poor and we didn't hear anything from them until 2 days of the wedding. It cause a lot of stress as you can imagine. And now so far we have not heard anything from them. They never return our calls. They put down their website and took down all their videos. Does anyone have a phone number or someone that we can contact from Urbane? Help, please.

    DO NOT BOOK THEM! They are frauds, bankrupt, no-shows, and owe a lot of people money! Google it.

    Not sure how accurate this is, but my dad is a lawyer and is looking into this. I think weddingwire or the news is trying to cover up this for some reason. Ive emailed the reporter numerous times and continually I get ignored when I ask about the Yusuf Joseph guy on Google and the business trademark as being the owner. This all just doesnt make sense to me.....Im thinking we might be on to another owner now!! HOPEFULLY THIS ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILTY FOR WHAT HAPPENED.

    My dad also said that if the owner is Yusuf Joseph its going to come down to the dates of ownership to figure out where this ball was dropped, so look at your wedding date. If your wedding date was June or AFTER and you had a missing videographer it may be the new owner dropping the ball, also if your wedding date was before June and you DID HAVE a videographer just no footage and apparently the News now has the footage then once again looks like someone dropped the ball. Before June = all was good, just no footage (now with news) After June = No footage and No videographer. This looks to me like a new owner RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of all of these complaints. The reporter Joe Ducey did inform me that someone that was a previous editor is trying to edit all this footage and fix it....draw the lines (because on the LinkedIn it seems this guy is an editor) FRUSTRATING.

    NO WAY!!! I just seen this! How could those reporters be covering this up!! I spoke to my photographer and they said Yusuf Joseph was the owner during my wedding! I EVEN CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE THERE! Apparently Yusuf went to Las Vegas during my wedding weekend according to my photographer!! BEYOND ANGRY SINCE HIS SIGNATURE WAS ON MY CHECK HE CASHED TOO!!!!

    If any one has booked with Urbane and has not received their footage, please pass this on. Joe Ducey recovered footage for over 170 weddings and mine was one of them. This story aired Saturday August 24, 2013 in Phoenix.

    Joe Ducey makes mistake in reporting on Hot Shot wedding dress and giving investigators a bad name in the wedding industry.

    Joe Ducey calls himself an investigator?! So I guess that's why he just goes around being a bully just because he has a camera crew. Shame on you Joe! You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors of ANY business, especially after the stunt you pulled with the HOTSHOT FIREFIGHT WEDDING DRESS EPISODE! Don't you ever put your puzzle pieces together and realize that sometimes the consumer is the driving factor for creating drama? Then you walk in and disrupt any process they are trying to fix? My husband is a computer programmer and has seen proof that your being fed lots of "artificial forms" from competitors, it's not even the brides and it also seems like you rely on ANONYMOUS message boards for all your facts then you make reports on it! Shame Shame Shame! Your a joke to all investigators across the board and at least reputable news stations have reported only the facts on your previous story rants of boredom for a popularity contest but Investigator JOE DUCEY is a bully and needs to be stopped. Read this bully article he wrote and why we just put a bad taste in our mouth.
