no clue where to even start

I've been putting decorations off and off and off and considering I have a month and a half left to my wedding I figured I should start to think about them. I don't even know where to start though. I know what my centerpieces are and the wedding is outside in a tent... please help direct me in the right direction! :)

You don't need to have decorations.

  • What kind of decorations are you imagining?

I think for the most part, keep the decorations to the tables (which mean you're done -yay!). You could do lights/streamers on your tent I suppose.

  • What do you mean? I'm assuming this is for the ceremony? What are you envisioning? I've seen people tie bows around chairs (if you have time to be able to do that), or use aisle runners or flower petals on the aisle. Is that what you're thinking? Walking around a store like Michael's might give you some inspiration.
  • i have no clue what i'm imaginging... i'm meeting someone sunday so hopefully that'll help.
  • you have centerpieces done, I'd start by thinking about "other" tables you mat have, like a gift table and an escort card table.  On the gift table, any people use wire birdcages for envelope.  How will you present your seating cards?  Simple folded paper is fine, though even just a cute hole punch mght help

In general, with BIG tasks, you jst need to pick a place and GO (learned in too many late work night).

  • I didn't really have any decorations other than centerpieces. I also painted and rhinestoned wooden numbers for the table numbers and letters that said "sweets," "gifts," wishes" and our last name for different tables. We also had a manzanita tree on our escort card table. Other than that, no decorations.

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
