Wedding Toilet Paper?!

I've been casually browsing the web trying to find paper sources for my wedding stationery (South Africa seems to have very limited options) and just came across this: http://www.somethingblue.co.za/weddingstar-toilet-paper-roll-light-hearted/

Am I the only person here left going "WTF?" at this? I think it's both incredibly tacky and incredibly pointless. Is this just another attempt to make some coin off someone else's happiness?

Would you ever buy/use this?

    Yes, it's just another attempt to make money. There are brides out there right now going, "Oh, that will be cute! I must get some and put it in our venue bathrooms!"

    This is possibly the only use I would find somewhat acceptable. But really, I like to think we all have classy friends and not tacky ones.

    @Harry87, it really does look like the worst quality toilet paper. Unfortunately, the last wedding I went to at an actual venue (ie not someone's home/garden), the venue used exactly that quality of TP. Combined with rich and fatty foods and a lot of alcohol, let's just say the bathrooms were not a pleasant affair.

    And I am 100% with you on this, @HobokenBride2012. Who wants TP ink in their wibbly bits? Not me, thanks!

    I'd knit up a little TP just as a gag for a guest bathroom or something, but the people who visit me would get it really really quickly. That stuff? No way does that go anywhere near anyone's sensitive parts.

    It's a bit strange. I went to and outdoor wedding for a friend and they rented port-a-poties, they had the kind of toilet paper in there. I thought it was cute.  I am not sure if my friend did that on purpose or the company put them in there though.  It was very low key so I'm not sure she would have though of details such as that.

    What the hell? I think I'm a pretty detail-oriented person, but this is a detail that NO ONE CARES ABOUT!

    I saw the toilet paper when I was planning for our wedding!  I was so offended by the idea of people wiping their asses with my wedding decorations.

    yikes. my colours are amber and black... i wouldn't want to see either at the bottom of a toilet

    I got something similar for DH for our first anniversary (paper - it was pink with sheep and hearts on it).  I got it as a gag gift to play off the paper theme.  I'm pretty sure he'll never use it.  My Mom on the other hand got Christmas themed TP one year, and puts it out in the main bathroom in the house every season.  2 years later and it still hasn't been all used up yet
