It's Friday I'm in Love

Work today stinks. No one should have to work on the day after a holiday day if it's a Friday.

But I called Disney and confirmed a few things for the honeymoon, hurrah! They're so helpful EVERY time I call (and I've called at least 5 times since I booked it at the end of March)and it's just wonderful.

How are you ladies doing?

    Next week is going to be busy - meeting with florist and first dress fitting (where actual alterations will take place - I already have the dress in my possession, but I will bring it back to them for the fitting)

    I'm doing alright - except for being at work on a beautiful day the day after the holiday. The good news is I'll get out early today. :-)

    Tonight is my first dress fitting which is pretty exciting! And my mom purchased my invite postage yesterday - just have to go get the RSVP envelope postage and I'll be set to start stuffing/addressing, which I'm looking forward to it being done, but also means that we have to decide officially on the guest list. Yikes!

    I bought some glass filler for my centerpieces too - but only 2 pounds, not 20. ;-) I have to look though, I wanted to get silvery ones, but Target and the Dollar Store didn't have them. I want to check out JoAnns and Michaels too.

    I can't stop staring at the clock today! I'm actually surprised at how many people are AT work!  My office is normally a ghost town on Fridays regardless - but today it seems everyone came to work. Kind of puts my plan of leaving early a little harder to do.

    I wasn't planning on doing anything wedding related this weekend...Tonight Abby and I are headed to a picnic - while the FI fishes.  Tomorrow going to either hit up a winery or find a beach to sit and be lazy at. Sunday potential to go trap (?) clay shooting.  I think it will be tons of fun - but I HATE the kickback of a shotgun...so I hope there is a smaller one that I can use.  FI says there is...

    If I do ANYTHING wedding related - it will be addressing envelopes because I keep punting deciding on centerpieces :)

    I'm playing hooky from work today; have plenty of vacation I haven't used. 

    It seems this month is the turning point of getting to the nitty-gritty of planning for everyone.  Have my first hair trial and make-up appt. for next Sat., and first fitting appt. for the 20th.  I finished printing, cutting, labelling and stuffing invitations as well; trying to wait a few weeks before I send them.

    Otherwise, having a laid back weekend in between monsoon storms down here; going out for dinner for a friend's birthday tonight.

    @FlDiver - weather has been NUTS over here too.  

    My week has been low key but very busy.  Somehow it just breezed by.  
    I plan to assemble invites this weekend, work on some other decor, set up a flower appointment and do some general wedding shopping.  FI needs to pick out a tie so I may take him out for that.  

    We have tons of friends with children who were born in July, which means lots of b-day parties this month.  I will get the shopping for all of them done too. 
    S'mores. Just S'mores please.
