  Thank you for this! I spoke with someone today who had also had the purple storm for bridesmaid dresses and she said that in the pics the dresses looked blue. This is such a weird color because I look at your pics and I see purple, then I look again and I see blue. I've learned the name of a local linen company that can match to this color but now I'm second guessing it altogether. I have to put a bit more thougtht into this. What color shoes did your girls wear?

  You're welcome!  It definitely photographed purple for us - there was no question that it wasn't blue.  They all wore gold shoes, as did I.  Maybe these pictures will help you too:

  I my self have picked purple storm...when I took pictures of the girls with the purple it showed the dresses as blue..my wedding is 7/27/13 ill post before pic now then one after for you.

  A lot of point and click or cell phone cameras change the colors in photos. If you're having a professional photographer their equipment Gould be high enough quality to retain the true colors.
  
  That being said this dress does lean towards the blue side, look at the second picture. But it's a beautiful color and not everything has to match exactly, having different shades of purple adds depth and visual interest! IMO
