I am thinking of substituting the use of flowers throughout my wedding with succulents. This will be an early summer (likely June) wedding using both indoor and outdoor spaces. I could DIY the centerpieces with some inexpensive succulents, and then actually keep them afterwards for our home! I am not really using much of a color theme, and am instead doing a lot of neutrals (like a burlap table runner, recycled brown bag color paper for programs, etc.) I just have one bridesmaid and she will be wearing a coral color dress. I am thinking the only real "flowers" in the wedding would be a few orange/coral colored flowers put into a succulent bouquet for what I hold as I walk down the aisle. Otherwise... no flowers at all. Any thoughts on this? Does it sound like this would be lots cheaper? TIA.
