Nicotra's Ballroom Tea House

We're getting close to putting a deposit down at Nicotra's Ballroom in Staten Island.  My biggest hesitation right now is that we're looking at the smaller room, the Tea House. 

We're expecting about 125 people and I'm concerned that it'll be too small a room to fit that many people comfortably and still allow people to dance.

Has anyone been to or had there wedding in that room for a similar amount of people?

    Are there any other Staten Island Hilton brides in general?

    I am also a SI Hilton Bride !! Actually a friend of mine is having the same problem as you - they were having their reception in the tea room but were concerned they wouldn't have enough space. One person from the hotel said they wouldn't put more than 100 in that room and another person said up to 140. After alot of thought they switched to the bigger room.

    Thanks Jen!  Do you know what the minimum is in the bigger room? We're only having  125 (maybe 130 max) and the minimum in the Tea House is 100 so I feel like we might be okay there but I'm just not sure.  So torn!

    I'm having my reception at the Hilton too.
    Julzy, talk to the person who is helping you at the Hilton. Ask her these questions and maybe even ask to see an event set up for around the same number of people you are having.

    I'm working with Sue and she said 130 could fit comfortably.  I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with that many people in the room.  I'm going back this weekend though hopefully and will make the final decision! I think it'll be fine but I just want one more look!

    julzy Im about to sign a contract with Sue for the Tea House and we also will have between 100-135 it looks like your post is old so hopefully you will see this and let me know how it was
