I need some inspiration... I have a few of these selected, but I figured I would ask them all... I'm sure some other people are looking for ideas too! Can't wait to hear what everyone has picked out!!!

We're not doing mother/son, garter, bouquet toss.
Haven't thought too much about these yet, will wait for some input from DJ too.
I assumed "Lullaby" by Billy Joel would be the father/daughter song, but I told my dad it was ultimately his pick.
More things to think about! Ahhh.

Thanks! He is planning to wrap the garter around a football (and my garter is a house divided Bengals/Giants garter) so we went all out for that one... (he doesn't know about the garter yet thought!!!)

Geez, I either don't know or am not doing half of these, haha.

Opening the dance floor will be Dance Yrslf Clean by LCD Soundsystem.
Cake cutting will be Still Alive by Glados/Jonathan Coulton (we couldn't resist).

We're not doing the parent dances or a dollar dance, and I totally didn't think about any of the toss songs. So that's all I know so far.

Bouquet Toss: All the Single Ladies - Beyonce
Open Dance Floor: Get the Party Started - Pink
Last Dance: Just the Way You Are - Bruno Mars
Dollar Dance: Anything that is slower so that everyone can dance to it. There will be more than one song.
Grand Entrance: Just Got Married - Q-Blaque

~Removing the garter song? "Going the Distance" by Cake (the lyrics are perfect for it!)

~Garter toss song? we're hoping to make it quick, so also "Going the Distance"

~Opening the dance floor with? probably "My Love" by Wings (slow), and then "I Saw Her Standing There" by the Beatles (faster)

~Last song of the night? last slow song: "Wonderful Tonight", last fast song: (which will be the very last one) "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Root OR "Time of my Life"

~Last song of the night? Ok, stealing it from a PP, "I've Had the Time of my Life" - Bill Medley and Jennifer Warner - I'll admit, my Mom CRIED when she found out this wasn't FI and I's first dance song, I'm a huge Dirty Dancing fan (I know most of the movie by heart)!!
