Hi everyone. 
I want to introduce myself.  
My name is Grace and my fiance's name is David. We are from Wilton and I got engage two month ago. I been looking online (already) for reception sites, photographers, make up artist etc... this is how excite it I am.  

I think I like the Waterview, Monroe.  I also signed up here because I want to reach out to anyone who knows the Waterview... what do you guys think? how's the food, customer service, have you ever been at a wedding here?

    Welcome to the board! We looked at the Waterview when we were searching for a venue, but we ended up choosing Cascade instead. I've never been to a wedding at the Waterview but I've been to its 'sister venue', the Riverview twice now. The food was pretty good both times and as a guest I had no complaints. I've only heard good things about the Waterview.

    I haven't been to the Waterview, but my cousin had his wedding there last year and everyone is still raving about it. In fact, I was actually thinking about it myself. One drawback is that there was apparently another wedding going on in another room when they had their reception, so if you want a venue and grounds that are yours alone for the entire day, that might not be the place.

    my brothers wedding was at their sister location the riverview in simsbury. food was amazing and plenty of it  bartenders were nice and the drinks were not watered down at all and they were in long tall glasses. staff was amazing. when they went to do speaches and my brother and my sil went to walk around to the tables the cordninator made sure that they had hot food always at their sweetheart table for them.. 

    he also used dj frank zappula from middletown

    Congratulations!

    I've heard great thing about this place, even looked at it for our wedding as my fiance INSISTED on having a wedding on the water.

    The only thing I didnt't like is that they can do more than one wedding at a time. This turned me off, but may not be a problem for you.
