Excitements

edited July 2013 in October 2013 Weddings

Besides marrying your FH, what's the one thing you're most excited about for your wedding? (or top 3 if you can't just pick one)

I can't pick one, so here's my top 3.

1) The food

2) The extended families getting to meet each other

3) The fact that I'll be done wedding planning/project-ing.

Re: Excitements

  • 1) Being done with planning and the feeling that I'm bleeding money.
    2) Seeing friends and family all in one place
    3) Two days after the wedding when we head to Europe for three weeks and don't have to work!

  • 1) So excited to wear my dress and shoes!
    2) Both the carrot cake wedding cupcakes and the lemon cheesecake for dessert (also, taking home any leftovers!)
    3) Seeing everyone all together, and meeting some of FI's extended family I haven't met yet from overseas.
  • 1) have shopping money
    2) go to London for the honeymoon!
    3) wear my pretty dress
  • 1. Having all my family and friends together for the day, celebrating.

    2. Not having to plan/budget/coordinate/store wedding stuff in my house anymore.

    3. Having my new husband move into our new house and going back to normal life!

  • 1. NOT PLANNING A WEDDING!!! Sorry, yes I had to shout that. In 22 days we'll have been engaged for 2 yrs. I am sick. of. all. of. it.

    2. Wearing my dress

    3. Seeing FI all dressed up.

  • 1. Honeymoon-over a week away from work with just me and FI (then husband) sounds amazing!
    2. Being done with planning!! Similiar to Stina we have been engaged for a year and a half and I am DONE with planning. Lets just do this already!!!
    3. Wearing my dress
    4. Getting a house after the wedding (sorry had to add one)

  • I don't have a top three - really just the entire day in general excites me.

And I think I'm the odd duck in the group that I definitely don't mind planning and everything has been really smooth sailing. I might even miss planning in a weird way!

  • I know once it's over and we're back from the honeymoon I'll miss planning, @Sew, but right now... I'm ready to be done. With the biggest stress right now being my dress and the upcoming move, I'm ready to just be done planning for a while.
