Save The Date & Invitation Suggestions

I am new to planning my wedding.  There are so many things to accomplish.  My wedding is 1 year away almost to the day.  I am in need of invitations for my wedding, but I will need Save the Dates does anyone have any suggestions for wedding invitations? I am traditional yet modern, but I am thinking I will be going the custom route since David my fiance and I are on totally different style paths.  Please help! Thanks in advance! :-)

Re: Save The Date & Invitation Suggestions

  • There are lots of options, but some popular sites are Vistaprint, Wedding Paper Divas, Magnet Street, David's Bridal, Invitations by Dawn.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  •  I definitely second Vistaprint! We bought all of our wedding invites, rsvps, save-the-date's & tags from them! You can pick pre-made designs, or create your own. Not to mention they're incredibly affordable. We had a lot of fun creating the 'look' we wanted, and they turned out great! As far as save-the-dates go, we went with personalized fridge magnets. We were able to have one of our engagement photos scanned on them. It was really neat. :)

If you do opt for Vistaprint, make sure if you're in the States to do the '.com' and if in Canada, do the '.ca' You can order from either, but if you order from the wrong one the shipping will be pretty pricey! (I made this mistake with one of my orders). Lol. :P

Good luck with your planning! You have a busy year ahead of you, but it's awesome! ;)

I designed my own save the dates in a few hours on Microsoft publisher and powerpoint. We printed them ourselves. Easy. Just google "Save the date designs" or look through Etsy for design ideas.

I also ordered my invitations from an Etsy seller.

  • Vista print love them got our save the dates and address labels from them.
