I'm wearing glasses for the wedding!!! Anyone else?

Every time I tell someone that I'm wearing glasses they tell me i'm crazy and to wear contacts for the day. Why is it such a big deal to people? I wear glasses every day. Why not on my wedding day? Anyone else wearing glasses?

I'm not, but I only recently got glasses and I don't really think they are part of my personality, yet. I went to a wedding last summer where the bride wore them. But she always wore them. People just associated her with them. On your wedding day you want to look like the best version of yourself not someone else, and if yourself includes glasses, go for it!

Totally am! I wear them every day (they're not just a fashion accessory). I personally think I look weird without them. Couple that with the fact that I hate (with a passion) wearing contacts. My fiance also wears glasses and he's only ever known me with them. Glasses rock in my opinion!

I look weird too!!! I have purple hello kitty ones right now (i have a small head and I like hello kitty lol) so I might go get some new black ones. My fiance wants contacts, but he likes them better. I hate contacts. I have had them twice and each brand didn't work for my eyes. I hate how people give their opinion like its their wedding. No respect! "OMG you are wearing glasses? Don't do that." Yes I am and there is nothing wrong with that.

If you wear glasses everyday why on earth wouldn't you wear them to your wedding? I don't understand why this would surprise people either. I don't even own contacts (tried them, hated them)! I need to schedule an eye exam soon so I'll probably find a pair of really kick-ass frames and I will most certainly rock them at my wedding.

I have been considering wearing mine. I wear glasses probably 360 days out of the year. I rarely wear my contacts. My fiancé doesn't like the idea of me wearing m contacts or the wedding, because he said when he thinks of me, he pictures me in my glasses. Why look our best if we can't see ourselves when we look in the mirror without our eyes! LOL

I'll bring my glasses with me in my clutch so after the ceremony I can have them if I want them. Things can look a little faded and blurry for me without them, and I so want to see my friends and family on that day so I'll definitely have mine with me.

I don't understand why someone wouldn't wear their glasses if that's what they wear everyday. I didn't but that's because I've worn nothing but contacts for 8 years.

I don't wear glasses, but H does. He still wore his. They're part of who he and how he looks (and I think they're dashing!).

My only recommendation would be to make sure your photographer watches for glare. There were just a couple close up shots H needed to take his glasses off for because the sun was doing a weird glare thing. But all the other photos looked great!

I've got terrible eyesight, but I hate wearing glasses. I only wear them for a few hours every other month or so, if I'm really tired or my eyes are irritated by allergies or something. I've been wearing contacts every day since I was 12.

When I see pictures of people who wear glasses every day without their glasses, it looks off to me. Wear your glasses if you never wear contacts.

I'll be wearing my glasses. I used to wear contacts, but my eyes don't like them anymore. Everyone keeps tell me the same thing, but I'll be wearing my glasses anyways.

I'll be wearing my glasses. I've had them for 14+ years, and never wore contacts. I can't see without them, everything is really blurry.

My fiance will probably wear glasses as well. He did for the engagement photos. He has worn contacts off and on, but last year had an issue with his eye due to his contacts, and hasn't worn contacts since.

I'm probably gonna be wearing my glasses. In part because I can't afford to get contacts at the moment. I've mostly worn glasses for the past 16 years. And I wore them in the two weddings I was in last year.
Do what you think will make you most comfortable.

I'm also wearing my glasses. I don't own a pair of contacts, and have no intention to start wearing them know. I do anticipate having to take them off for some pictures though.
