Autograph Picture Frame

I want to use a large picture frame with a picture in the center as a guest book.  I am having trouble finding one that is large enough. I found one on Oriental Trading, but it is only 11x14, with a 5x7 area for the picture.  I have a feeling this will be too small for a wedding with 100 guests.  Any ideas?

  • Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? They have signature frames and they always go on sale so you can get it at a good price.

My boss used this one at her wedding:

It's 20x20 and she had about 130 guests... There was more than enough room and using one of their frequent 15% off coupons takes it down to $42.50...or consider adding it to your registry which is what she did (and I bought it!).  Also, keep in mind, most couples will sign "Mary & John Smith", not separately so it takes less room.

I am not sure how fancy you want, but we did an ENGRABEABLE frame that was an 8x10 picture inside it from an internet place called "I do engraveables". We were happy with results, but it was a little pricey. It fit about 100 signatures on it just fine
  • We had a print made from a store on etsy that is a tree, and each guest can sign a leaf. We got to customize our colors and everything. Fits in perfectly with our fall wedding and is much more likely to stay hung up in our home than a plain autograph mat. If you look around on there you might find something you like.

  • We got a frame that you can "engrave" through Amazon. I think the picture it can fit is either and 8x8 or 8x10. I definitely looks big enough for our 130-ish guest wedding. As long as people don't write long love letters ;)

    Good luck!
  • If you're going to have guests sign a picture frame, please either lay it flat on a table, or make sure it's high enough for people to write on comfortably.  We recently attended a wedding that did this, but the easel the photo/frame was mounted on was very low and difficult to sign (especially while wearing heels).

We laid ours flat because someone else told us that they had their sitting up and someone accidentally knocked it off and it broke....
