First Dress Fitting

Had my first fitting today after waiting 6 1/2 months for my dress to come in and another month for a fitting appointment I finally got to see my dress again! I just love it! I got the Maggie Sottero Divina in White with beaded belt, not the black belt. I hardly had anything that needed to be done besides my cups and bussel it was easy! Now just to lose a few extra pounds and it will be perfect! I love with the corset back I don't have to worry much about a little change in weight. Hope everyone would have such a easy time as I did!

    I had my first fitting yesterday too! It's so exciting because it's only been sitting in my closet for the last 18 months! 

    That's great that they didn't need to do much to it. Mine only needed hemmed and a bustle. I go back in a month to try it back on!

    Congrats to you both!  

    @fancybunny I loved that dress when I was looking through the magazines, but I ended up going with more of ballgown style.  Did you bring a strapless bra with you to the fitting?  I'm getting cups sewn in too, but I don't know if I should still bring a strapless bra in for the fitting.

    I have my first fitting next week, but I've tried it on and need a lot of alterations.

    I had my first fitting on Saturday too!  I have the Maggie Presca Marie (white belt not the black) and I agree I love the corset back.  I had to have it taken in 2" on each side from the bust to the hip and then the bustle.  I'm doing a 5 point french bustle.  Luckily the length with my shoes was perfect so nothing needed there.  I go back the 29th for the 2nd fitting.  I'm SOOOO excited about my dress.  I'm totally in love with it and can't wait to wear on the wedding day.

    I had my first one last week.  All it needs is to be hemmed, the bustle done, the bust taken in and an itty bitty bit taken in so it fits nice and snug so I'm not pulling up all night.  Can't believe it's already time for fittings!!!!

    I am going on the 15th! I'm a little bummed, because I was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but my work schedule changed and I had to reschedule! So excited though :)

    My alterations lady has had my dress for 6 weeks now...and I still need to go back in to have a second fitting to do more work...we have 5 weeks until the wedding and I'm getting really nervous...She said she has a few dresses to get out the end of this month, but it's bothering me that she's had my dress for so long :(

    I have my 2nd and likely last fitting on Saturday.  I'm so excited to get it on again after the alterations.  I was so bummed when it came in and made me look schlumpy in the top and waist but after she pinned it I could really see a difference so I can't wait!

    I had my second fitting 5/11.  I was told to lose weight or think about taking it out. 8 lbs down, 5 to go!

    I had my first fitting Saturday afternoon. Luckily, all I need is a bustle. My mom is doing it, so I'm not even going to the store to have my fittings; we did it in the living room, and it looked perfect.

    going for my 2nd fitting on Wednesday!  had to do a hem, bustle cups and taken in at the chest.  very nervous to put it back on!

    Had mine two weeks ago, needed bustle an 1' inch hemmed. The strapless I bought isnt good for the dres- the whole back shows. So when I go back on Monday will have to try an old strapless if that doesn't work I guess I'll need cups sewn into my dress.

    I had my 1st fitting yesterday yay!!!! I need a bustle done and for it to be taking in alot on the sides and bust area.....Other than that its perfect
