Okay, I know that I am SUPER late with this, but you ladies know how it gets as we get down to the wire. Last weekend was my Bachelorette weekend and IT.WAS.EPIC!!!!!! My girls did such an amazing job with everything. The theme of the whole weekend was "The Dirty Douglas Academy". Since I am a teacher, they came up with the idea of "schooling" me on being a wife.
Friday night was "Dis-Orientation" we went to the club and partied it up in VIP. I wore a white freakem' dress, they all wore black. It was so hot, we walked in the club like we owned it, turned all the way up and broke the knob. Of course they had a little list of things for me to do. The funniest one was to dance with a random guy doing my best Beyonce' moves. lolz. Being the Bey fan that I am, of course I was all game for it as soon as one of her songs came on. My little performance got some football player in the back of VIP to buy us 3 bottles. Oh yeah!!
Saturday was all about "School Werk". That morning we had a pole/twerk class. For all of you ladies in South Florida, Exotic Workouts is a fantastic place to let your inner stripper out. lolz. After we all learned a pole routine, I had to show the group what I learned while they "rained" down their approval. It was fun. We took a (much needed) break that afternoon and reconvened that night for a workshop with a "guest professor". Sticking with the school theme, everyone had to come dressed in their school uniforms: plaid skirts, knee highs, tight sweaters, etc. It was the cutest! I had so much fun.
The night took a little bit of a turn when we found out the verdict of the Zimmerman trial. Naturally, we were livid and it put a damper on the night, but after a while, we got back into the mood and finished the night out.
I had such an amazing time! My girls are wonderful and I appreciate them so much.
