Recommendation for birdcage veil???

Hi!  I am soooo in love with my dress and I know for sure that I want a birdcage veil to both keep the vintage look alive and because the back of the dress is so gorgeous I couldn't bare to cover it up :)

Dress is below..... please send your suggestions! I am thinking something big and dramatic either floral or feather? Or simply and dainty? I am afraid if I go too dainty I won't look "dressy enough"  What are your thoughts?

Have you checked out Tessa Kim? I love her birdcage veils and fascinators. I'm thinking of doing a birdcage veil for the ceremony and then a flower (I love this one) for the reception.
  • Checking them out now... thanks!

  • Dude, those veils are a rip-off, no offense. Veils are just pieces of tulle and net at the end of the day. You can buy the supplies to make a birdcage at a craft store for like less than $10.

Look at valuveil, or whitedove, or even look into making your own.  http://www.weddingchicks.com/2010/11/09/make-your-own-birdcage-veil/

  • Oh, I completele 100% plan on making my own :)  I am very crafty and am doing a LOT of DIY for the wedding because I thoroughly enjoy it.  I am really just looking for ideas so I can replicate them... although I did find something nice on Amazon for $25, but I know I can make this the way I want for under $20 :)

Thanks ladies!! If you see anything pretty let me know!
