DJ Company's Telephone Number Disconnected!

I am an out-of-state bride. I will be in town next week and wanted to meet with my DJ again to go over some details. I called the two telephone numbers on his company's website and one has been disconnected... the other says to call back later. The name of the company is Makin' Entertainment and it is based in Lowell, MA. Michael Dinsmore is supposed to be our wedding DJ. We have put down a deposit and I am REALLY nervous that we have been swindled. I can't believe it though, because I attended a wedding for my friend that he DJ'ed! Should I be flipping out? I found him on Facebook and sent a message to him that way so hopefully he gets that. It is three months until our wedding and I don't know if I can find a good DJ in that much time! Does anybody know anything about this company? HELP!!!

    Hi there,

    So sorry to hear what is happening. Not sure what to tell you about your current situation, but with 3 months out I am sure we can help you with DJ recommendations. Just ask if you need any names.

    You may want to ditch this DJ anyway if he is unreliable/shady.

    I had booked with making ent. in the beginning but ended up canceling with them due to their lack of communication... im not saying that he wont show up but it bothered me that it took him almost 2 months to return an email !!! i was all set with that... we ended up with beat train productions if you need a referral they were GREAT! hth and good luck! keep us posted...

    I just looked up the name on switchboard. It came back with a few results. there is one for the company (first on the list) and a few people down is another michael out of lowell with a different phone number.

    Hey everyone I got in touch with the DJ at Makin' Entertainment. They JUST transferred their phone lines. The new number is 978-677-9051. They are having trouble getting in touch with their website provider to get the new number on there. I apologize if I made anyone nervous, but I was freaking out too. Everything is okay now. Thanks!
