After visiting MANY venues in NJ il tulipano seems to be our #1 choice. The price is slightly above what I wanted to spend per person. I wondered if anyone has worked with this venue recently and how willing they were to negotiate? The Viennese  hour sounds amazing and I would love to include it if my budget will allow! Were they willing to eliminate some items from cocktail hour to reduce cost? Any input would be great! Thanks!!

    Excellent choice! To help reduce the cost, you can definitely eliminate some of the cocktail hour stations that require waiters serving. You can also cut out the Viennese Hour or increase your maximum guarantee. But be assured that your receptron will be exceptional whatever you decide to eliminate, with top quality food and top notch service. Best of Luck to you!

    ca53088, if you don't mind me asking, how much does il Tulipano cost per person?  I recently got engaged and started doing research on venues.  I immediately fell in love with il Tulipano!! The menu that is online looks unreal!! I'm just afraid that when my fiance and I start looking at places a lot of them will be slightly above our budget.  I'm trying to not get my hopes up lol :) Thank you so much!!
