I looked over the vendor rating board, but did not come across anything in the Port Huron area! I am looking for reviews on DJ, photography, photo booth, hair dressers, and flowers. I have been looking at DJcrashers as a package deal; has anyone worked with them at all? I am on a 10k budget for my wedding, so the cheaper the better, but quality will over rule budget.

    We are using Bigfoot DJs and they are from Port Huron. There was a whole discussion about DJ crashers and it wasn't that good. Bigfoot DJs have been wonderful to deal with. I met them when I went to a wedding expo and McMoran in Port Huron. My step-sister is getting married up there in August but I don't know much about her vendors, a lot is DIY. She is getting married in one of the barn's at Godell's park.  I am from southern St. Clair County and I found a lot of vendors do travel.

    We are on the same budget.

    We are using SKH photography out of Memphis, MI. Joe has done almost all of our family photo's; wedding, reunions, senior pictures. For hair go to the Paul Mitchell Salon training school, the girls their are awesome with updos and very affordable. For flowers you can do the fake flowers from Hobby Lobby. Fake flowers no longer look like the 80's fake flowers. We are having a family member do the bridal party bouquets and that is it. Going to cost about $100. No flowers for the ceremony or the reception. 

    I would recommend staying away from DJcrashers also. I have not heard very many positive things about them. I have heard good things about Bigfoot DJ's and there is another one up there but I will have to ask around again to get the name. We are using Music by Mark. He is very affordable under $900 for just music and we are requesting him to play some more unique music and he has been very helpful and willing to work with us to get the music, legally. Personally I would recommend him but I'm partial since I am using him as our dj.
