Second Line After Reception

Hi,


We are planning the second line for after the reception.  In those situations does the second line end in the French Quarter at a bar?  Has anyone done this before and if so do you have any recommendations on where to end?  Do you need to reserve space at a bar?

    We did it after our reception, but hosted an after party at Petite Bourbon.  They have a great balcony overlooking Bourbon Street and we threw Mardi Gras beads to passersby.

    If you have a large group, it may be helpful to reserve space at a bar, but I guess it depends where you plan to go.  If there isn't room for your guests, people will probably disperse pretty quickly.
