apparently the auto-immune disease that caused his original cirrhosis is back. The new liver has started to scar and my dad is symtomatic of the start of liver failure.
As a second time around liver transplant candidate he is no longer eligible for a living donor. His doctors have brought his case before the committee who will decide if he is a good candidate for being put back on the transplant list. They evaluate general health, mental health and a whole mess of other things.
Dad is pretty out of it and weak which is part of the whole thing. He's also seriously in denial.
