Engagement Photo Location Help!

I'm trying to find a place around Houston that would be a nice setting for our engagement pics! We live in League City so anywhere between Galveston and Downtown Houston would be awesome! I was just hoping to find something different! Any little tip would be so greatly appreciated!

    How about the water fountain near the galleria? It's a popular spot.

    If you're willing to drive, we took ours in the bluebonnets in Brenham. They came out great.

    Also, near the Natural Science Museum, they have tons of cute spots down there.

    my fiance proposed at the waterwall by the galleria so i think we are going to do a short bit of our session there for our engagements. it seems fitting. :)

    the photographer i've chosen has a few shoots from hermann park and they look really nice. i really liked all the green grass and trees there. i still need to go see it in person, because i haven't been to that park yet (new to houston) but i guess there's a big column like structure too that looked really nice in the photos.

    there is also discovery green with the cube wall, also the lawndale art center has some cool graffiti if you want something really unique! We took ours at the Orange Show... I loved them! (see attached)

    I'm looking for a location too.  I love outdoor photos and I like close up more than far away with a lot of background.  I'm trying to find a nature-y place.  Maybe Herman Park or somewhere in The Woodlands?

    i recently found a really cool park down kind of near discovery green. a photographer i'm interested in does a lot of shoots there and it looks really cool. i haven't been to check it out in person yet, but it's called baldwin park. it has a lot of trees with very low hanging branches that twist and turn around so you can get really creative with poses.

    We did ours on the St. Thomas campus and at the park near the Menil (it has cool trees and architecture).

    We didn't want to drive that far, but I think Pleasure Pier in galveston would be really cool too.  I've seen some awesome photos there!

    We had our pics at Kemah, on the boats, by the water, in front of Ferris wheel, they came out very cute.

    I had my engagement shots done in Hermann Park downtown, I think it's the best public outdoors location :)
