I'm gonna join the ranks of those who are GBCKing. I know I haven't been on here for a super-long time, so perhaps a good-bye thread is presumptuous of me, but I just wanted to say peace out to you all. I think very highly of everyone on here and have enjoyed interacting with you all, so this is mostly just closure for me.
Basically, in light of the foolishness that went on here today (ah, but let me keep those opinions to myself, I've already liked about a million posts that summed up what I was thinking), as well as stuff going on IRL, I have decided to bow out of the boards. I will no doubt be lurking off and on, and I may come back when BF and I are engaged and actively planning a wedding. For now, though, I want to enjoy our relationship as it is and concentrate on school. NEY had been wonderful in helping me keep perspective, but this is a wedding website, and being on here occasionally makes it harder to live in the present. So this is the right thing for me to do at this time.
