Rings!!!!!!!!!!!

What size was your engagment ring? did you have yours put together? did the have to resize both/all rings? 
My engagment ring was a size 7.5 and i had my bands (3) put together (fused) and they had to make them a size 9. i am wondering if this is unusual.

    Mine was also a 7.5. This is a popular or common size, so that is usually what the jewelry stores carry (or at least this is what I have been told by a few jewelers). I also where a size 9 ring, so my engagement ring and now my band had to be resized. I am still undecided about whether I will put my rings together or not. I work in the health care field, so I may just keep them separated and just wear my band while I'm at work and both when I'm off work.

    Mine are both size 7, it's a tighter fit with two rings so I'd guess with 3 it's even tighter!

    My engagement is a heirloom and sized to 7 and was loose after i lost weight but now with the size 7 band under it it seems to be just fine.
    I will not join them cause i dont want to devalue my great-grandmother ring :)
    but i go have lots of rings and the thicker the band the larger the size - i am sure what ever you end up doing it will be wonderful!

    I'm in the same boat as EastSide with my band. But I know with FI's ring, his man-gagement ring if you will, is a 9. The wedding band we wound up getting for him is much thicker and the 9 was just too tight, so we had to resize his up to a 10 to get a comfy fit for the thicker band.

    My ring had to be sized to a 12. I thought it was huge, but the salesman said it was more common than you'd think, especially for someone of my height.
