nervous about dress fitting

I bought my dress in April and it fit perfect then. 2 months ago I decided to quit smoking. I have done awesome with that, but even with watching what I eat I have still gained 10 pounds! I haven't tried on my dress since, but I'm so scared it wont fit. Guess I need to find a day where FI isn't here and try it on.

Re: nervous about dress fitting

  • Good for you for quitting!  Is your dress corset style?  If so, it can be a little bit more forgiving.  I hope it fits!!!  *fingers crossed*

  • Thanks! Its a A-line style. I just tried it on and had my sister help me. I almost started crying when she said she couldn't zip it there was 1inch gap. Then we realized it wasn't pulled up far enough. It fits perfect, and surprisingly it feels a little looser than at the bridal shop. I'm so happy and can't wait till the big day!

Don't forget, if you are working out at all, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you gain 10 lbs of muscle, you won't gain in inches, heck, you'd probably lose inches. :)
