Everybody is trying to tell me red and white is not a summer color since the wedding is in July. What do you guys think? Red is my favorite color and its the day after the 4th of July

People kill me with their mostly unsolicitated opinions! I had someone tell me I can't go with a fall theme (November 23) since very technically it will be winter. Whatever dude! Do what you and FI want, errbody else can sit down...

You want red and white, go for it. Personally, I think they are great colors for any time of year. Fabrics and type of dress, however, may differ on seasons because of the weather changes. You wouldn't want to wear a heavy dress or suit in an outdoor summer wedding.

my MOH is an aka.. she tried to tell me i should not have pink in my wedding cause it will clash with the school colors *when we were getting married at the school*

I was a July bride and I knew a few people who went with red and white. Its nice. I think it will be fine. And like my grandma would say if you like it, I love it. Who cares.

Guh? tell everybody your wedding colors are clear and invisible. When they get their breath back to ask a follow up, proudly state the following: yes, that's right all of my shyt is going to be see-through. promise they leave you alone swiftly.
