An unsupportive mom will ruin you day every single time. I am doing my best not to be selfish and say :This is my day and I can do what I want" But that is all I want to say to my controlling, bitter, b**ch of a mother.

    Then I would keep her on a need-to-know basis. Like all she needs is the time, date, and place of the ceremony.

    And go have a glass of wine. Or chocolate (it helps, it really helps).

    EvilStitches would then call her up and tell her that it is your day, you are paying, and you will make the plans you want. (Back, EvilStitches, back!)

    I hate it when mom tries to take over!  It's your day.... do what you want, invite who you want, it's all about you and your fiance!

    Is there a certain part of the wedding planning she is making difficult for you?
