S/O Grooms men attire-2 days out-wwyd. NER

Grooms.men going rogue. How do future bride and grooms prevent a situation like that from happening?

Re: S/O Grooms men attire-2 days out-wwyd. NER

  • The same way they prevent earthquakes and static cling.

  • Thanks for being so helpful.
  • I guess I'll tell my husband to.round the boys up for a drinking night and go to the tux shop first.
  • You're welcome!

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.  At the end of the day, you cannot make adults do what you want them to do.  The best you can do is give them the information and let the chips fall where they may.

  • Your opinion is not wanted @cap816.

I think this would be the best way.
  • You can't prevent it, you can just decide how you want to deal with it. If FI's GM decide to buy a different colour suit then he can decide if he wants them to stand up or to be a guest. Same with my BM's. I don't know how I would feel about it/deal with it. On one hand they are your friends, who cares what you're wearing, on the other if they accept the role of GM/BM they should be aware that the 2 requirements they have to fill are to buy the correct attire and walk in a straight line (and preferably be fairly sober).
