WTF are these?  They're underwear, right?  Because they're being sold as "running shorts".

We saw two teenage girls walking around the mall in these yesterday.  One of the pairs was neon yellow and the girl didn't have underwear on (I mean, how could you?).  They were farking see-through.  You could see her entire business through these supposed shorts.

    I'd say underwear, but I've seen some girls at the gym with short spandex. I've got a pair like that, to go UNDER my workout shorts (I don't like it when my thunder thighs touch on the elliptical, and most workout shorts these days are waaay too short for my taste, resulting in a "gap" between me and the shorts' crotch, ugh)

    I will add a caveat- those girls at the gym in short spandex generally don't have a slice of buttcheek showing like in that picture!  AND they generally wear pretty long, loose tops or are doing solely arms and core- not stuff that makes the butt bounce around!

    My only other thought- those are swimsuit bottoms! In FL, you see a lot of ppl at beachside towns walking in in their swim suits, or girls will throw a pair of denim shorts over their bikini bottoms cut just like that picture. But the bits and pieces are still covered!
