My wedding will be on 12/13/14 in North Carolina. The venue we booked mainly does outdoor ceremonies, but I am concerned about the weather. The average temp in dec here is a high of 52...I know that isn't cold to some, but down here that's pretty chilly. We have the option of using the ballroom for the ceremony and doing a flip before the reception, but I'm not sure how I feel about that idea. There is an open air pavilion, so it's covered but open on all 4 sides. I was thinking we could rent patio heaters and maybe even hand out blankets or something like that. So if anyone has had experiences/suggestions with either of those options(a flip of the ceremony/reception space, or the outdoor pavilion with patio heaters) I would love to hear them.
