Recommendations on guest accommodations? (Rockaway/Mt Arlington/Newton/Sparta area)

Hi all - I'm getting married in Sparta next summer and will need a large block of rooms (~40) so wanted to stick with the larger/chain hotels, though there's not many in the area. Will probably look into the Marriott and the Holiday Inn Express in Mt Arlington, Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway, Holiday Inn Express in Newton, though the last one doesn't have a shuttle and I would prefer a hotel that does provide a shuttle. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with any of these for room blocks? Thanks!

    My brother also got married in Sparta and his guests stayed at the Marriott. I never heard a complaint so I'm thinking it was a good experience. They had a shuttle and everything.

    We're working through the same issue.  The only suggestion I'd add is Crystal Springs; one of their facilities is priced about the same as your choices and I believe they do have a shuttle.

    Appalachain and Minerals have about the same pricing, just offer different types of rooms.  I'm getting married at one of their venues and they offer shuttle service within their property. I don't know if the shuttle would be available for off-site transportation, but it's best to contact their reservations line directly.

    We are getting married in Sparta and are using the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway, and it includes a free room for us and a shuttle for our guests. So far their sales manager has been great! Really responsive by email, and helpful when people accidentally book outside the block and need to be moved in. 

    We'll see how it goes on wedding day, but I have high hopes!
