It's getting really close to 2 months...

I haven't really been paying attention, but for most of us, it is reallllly close to 2 months away. That's crazy. It feels as if it were just 8 months away.

Things are going well and everything is in place, but it's still crazy. Oh my.

    Invites are due to be delivered today; big sis and I will be assembling Saturday for them to HOPEFULLY be mailed next week, or at worst, week after that. 

    Gotta assemble my invite list for the shower, and just start nailing down little stuff now.  Like, so little that if none of it gets done (excluding the license), it doesn't matter to me.

    Well, excluding the musician and a cake and a limo.  ALL the rest is just gravy.

    Wow.

    I was planning on mailing out the invites today, but we're still missing one address and I spent 12 hours at work yesterday, so I didn't get home until 8 after my WalMart pit-stop, and then I cracked open a Sam Adams Oktoberfest brew....... Yea, so the final addressing didn't happen last night, haha. Going to get those out Monday at the latest. I'm going on a family long-weekend vacation Wednesday evening - Sunday evening, so I want them to go out like, now.

    @lplions - I LOVE Sam Adams Oktoberfest and was soooo excited when FI brought it home.  The only downside - and I apologize if this is TMI for people that do not believe that humans fart - it gives FI the WORST GAS in the world! We have a fart tax in our house - $10 into our mortgage account if the smell makes someone leave the room....Starting in August and ending around December - FI pays a LOT!

    And that is reason #459068 why I don't drink beer. Ugh. Gross.

    He'd be paying the mortgage in like 5 days at our house!!  FI has the WORST gas, and it's not just beer gas.  He's just a Toot-Monster!! 

    I love the Gas Tax.  :)  Epic idea!!!

    I hate reading posts by people with my date because it reminds me how far behind I am. I don't have a DJ or a veil, haven't even thought about dress alterations (because I'm almost changing my mind about the dress), haven't finished with the invites, haven't even gotten all the addresses, haven't found him a tux/suit and the list goes on.........and on.....I'm starting to think I should make a list of what I HAVE done, it would be shorter :(  Since everyone is talking about Sam Adams I think I will go get one, however, it makes me belch...like a grown man.

    @rustytammy - that was too funny. I'm sitting here laughing uncontrollably and WILL be sharing that with my FI. :) Before he and I got comfortable with one another - I would go home with the most awful stomach pains. And reading that just brought me back to those early dating days.
