Weekend Agenda?

So what's on everyone's agenda this weekend? Any wedding-related check marks anticipated??

I have an exam tomorrow and have to run errands and blah stuff (might sneak in a trip to michael's tho haha). I would like to work on the invitations if I have time.

Sunday, FI and I are going to 2 different jewelers to pick out wedding bands. Then we are meeting with the videographer in the afternoon. We meet with the choreographer on Monday night as well.

So I'm hoping for a few more check marks on the list

NWR: Working today and then I'm in need of a serious session at the gym. Tomorrow I am volunteering with Habitat for Humanity all day. Monday, MLK Jr Day, is considered a holiday at my job, but they are offering us time and a half if we come in. I'm taking the $$$!!

WR: Sunday we are having our cake tasting and selecting our menu and our linens.

FI and I applied to adopt a dog yesterday so I am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear back. I hope things work out, I have been wanting to get a dog for years now and FI finally gave in!

Mama - we just have crazy wind & rain here. I want snow :-( Laur - good luck! We want pictures! Today after work i'm going to the TA to book our HM (!!!!), and then sometime this weekend i'll be ordering our STDs. Tomorrow we're taking down all the Christmas decorations, then i'll probably just watch football all day. Sunday I work 6-2:30 (blech), and then i'll be watching more football.

3 day weekend for me! We're going to happy hour with friends tonight and out to watch the playoff game on Sunday. Tomorrow I need to go to the gym and run errands. Somewhere in there we also need to clean the house and do laundry, thrilling stuff! I want to reserve Monday as a do nothing day to lounge around with FH and watch movies.

Nothing on the agenda for the wedding, which is the usual for me. Actually, that isn't completely true. We may talk to a friend about officating if we see him tonight. We may also run into our photographer tonight. Sunday I may see my friend who offered to do my make up and I need to make sure he is still on board.

NWR: 3 day weekend woot woot! I rarely get the holidays, but lately work has been better about it

Tonight FI and I are meeting a friend and her boyfriend for dinner. I haven't seen her for almost 2 years so it will be really fun! Other than that, nothing too exciting... hopefully getting a good long run in one of the days this weekend.

WR: STDs. We finally got them in and when I was home last weekend for the funeral all of my relatives were asking me the whole what, when, where so they could plan. I figure I should send them out ASAP, so that will be the project this weekend.

NWR: i thought i was pretty lucky to have a 3 day weekend but it looks like alot of you girls have monday off too! Dan doesn't have it off so i might go downtown to shop & get lunch with him on monday. we also desperately need to go to the gym because we didn't go tuesday-thursday this week for various reasons (he didn't feel well, i didn't feel well, the snow).

WR: i plan on finishing addressing and stamping the save the dates. i have to wait for dan to ask his last groomsman before i send them out, but i want them to be ready to go whenever he gets around to that. i also plan on trying a 2nd version of lace votives, but i need to make a trip to the dollar store for that.

the weather sucks here, we got probably 8 inches of snow yesterday. i'm hoping the roads are cleared by tomorrow so that running some of my errands isn't such a hassle.

NWR:Continue work in upstairs apartment-we are hoping for it to rented in March. I also need to finish putting away Christmas, its all done, but its kind of all over my dinig room still... MOST IMPORTANTLY watching football on Sunday! GO GIANTS!

WR: Design save the dates. I had previously designed some but didn't pull the trigger soon enough, and the etsy shop went on vacation through the end of the year. SO I bought some groupon deals for vista print and decided to do it on the cheap, but I am not in love with any of their pre-canned designs so I need to work on that, probably Saturday night.

Its snowing and yucky here, so I should probably include shoveling on my agenda too, because There wasn't too much to get out of my driveway this morning so I just went to work once I get home I'll need to clean the sidewalks and driveway or it'll be a sheet of ice! gah I hate shoveling and our snow blower is to heavy for me to use-stupid boys and their stupid tools couldn't we just have one of the normal ones that I could push around?? We cant use it unless there's a good 4-6 inches anyway

Andddd I just had a semi-major freak out because I looked at DB and saw they didn't carry my dress in the color I had picked. Whelp, I work with one of my BMs and she showed me that I was looking at the wrong dress. Crisis averted! Yet blood pressure is still high....

We just started getting some light flurries here, I'm not a fan! I drive north for Christmas, so I get my white Christmas there, there is no need to ever get snow down here hahaha

Today I am off work, so I am planning on tackling some DIY stuff for the wedding. I am not sure what exactly... maybe go buy some ribbon and do some more roses, try to finish one of the shawls I am making for the bridesmaids... we'll see

Tomorrow I have to work from 7:30 am until 4pm. Things are pretty lax at work on a Saturday, so I will likely bring some wedding stuff to work on there too, just because I can hahaha! We usually don't get many calls, and no one really cares what you're doing. When I get home it will be back to the DIY wedding stuff, I am determined to make this a productive weekend! Lol

Sunday morning we have church, and then FI goes to a group at the church to study with the men of the church that go. I will bring my ereader along and just get comfy reading on a couch while I wait for him. I haven't read a good fiction book just for fun since highschool until I got my ereader for Christmas, and now I have returned to being the bookworm I used to be lol! After church we are meeting with our photogs. They want to sit down and talk some more details about the wedding now that the engagement photos are out of the way and we've figured out more details (we booked them over a year before the wedding). I LOVE them, so I am looking forward to it! We'll finish up the night likely with me tackling more DIY stuff lol

NWR: Working Saturday 8:30-12.
Reorganizing my closets and all of my dressers. I had to buy my step sons closet for $20.

WR: Trying to finalize the guest list count so I can order and start pricing out pockets and paper for the invites.

Put together our address list so when the STDs come in we can print all of the envelopes out ASAP.

Looking for an airbrush makeup artist in NH. Since I cant afford the ones I love once travel fees are added in.

I'm so excited about this weekend!

NWR: I'm finally getting my car back after two and a half months! I was in a wreck in early November. It has been a horrible battle b/c the lady that t-boned me lied so many times her insurance just decided it was my fault b/c they couldn't make heads or tails of her story. I ended up having to put it through on my insurance. FI and I will have two days off together which never happens. I'm excited about that. We're also going grocery shopping. We haven't been in a month and the last two weeks have been bottom of the pantry type meals. Or fast food. Which is no good for my diet. So I'm totally stoked to be going shopping.

WR: I plan on getting my shoes. I also plan on ordering rhinestones to strass them. We are going to book our venue tomorrow too!

What? I don't get Monday off! I want a job re-do...

NWR: Almost nothing. I'll probably imbibe with the FI Sunday evening.

WR: My mom is coming over tonight so we can go dress shopping tomorrow! I've made appointments at two local salons. It's weird, I go through cycles of being excited and not being excited at all to look for a dress. Thankfully I will have two of my bridesmaids there, the fashion one and the good luck one

Nothing WR- unless I get ahold of a band today. FINALLY got in touch with one only for them to tell me they will likely be on tour in Sept.

Our friend's little girl turned 1 on the 11th (born 1/11/11) so they are having her first birthday party tomorrow. I'm planning to charge my camera tonight and try for some cute cake pics. I might sneak in a zumba class at noon tomorrow, and hopefully find a date to Beauty and the Beast. (FI does not do movies- and even if he did, I doubt that would be one for him)

NWR: TIM TEBOW

My FI bought me a jersey and I am so pumped for tomorrow's game. I'm in CT now interviewing and I'll spend most of my day tomorrow on a plane so it looks like Sunday will be lots of sleeping after church

WR: Today I booked our florist!! She came in right at our budget and really made me excited about how great the boquets will look!!

NWR: I will be working all weekend and I am planning on working out doing some Jillian Michaels workout videos. I am trying to get myself in as good of shape as I can before the wedding gets here.

WR: I just ordered my invites and am super excited I can't wait to get them and see how they turned out. I know it is still a little early so I will just hold onto the invites for a couple more months before I get them all sent out. I am just happy to have them ordered.

My mom is going cake tasting for me this weekend since I am in England with the Air Force and my FI is deployed to Afghanistan at the moment so my mom is helping me out with the cake details. She has a picture of the cake that I want and is taking it with her to show the baker and will do the tasting for me I trust that she will pick us out a good cake flavor.

I also just ordered our unity candle for the ceremony along with the candle holder. And I ordered personalized toasting flutes for all of our guest for the reception.

Laur--I am in my hometown with my parents helping them adopt a dog this weekend,too! Good luck!

NWR: In NC helping my parents pick out a dog (but they seem to have fallen in love with a kitten at the SPCA too). FI and I are also hanging out with a couple friend of ours this weekend. The guy is Saudi Arabian and he just got back to the states after spending a month in Saudi Arabia, so we're excited to see him.

WR: I'm picking up the Save the Dates tomorrow so I can get started addressing them! I can't wait to send them out because then the guest list will officially be CLOSED! The next two weekends are big wedding planning weekends. We're meeting with the minister, the organist, and the venue, as well as a possible DOC. I need to figure out what linens are included with our venue.

Megan and I had planned to go away for a couple of days (Thurs - Fri) since she works over the weekend. We decided to head down to Amish country...mostly for the amazing wineries, cheese houses, and antique stores :-)
We checked into the hotel on Thursday and it started snowing within the hour. :-/ Made it to two wineries that night before it got too bad and we decided to just curl up in the room and enjoy time alone. She passed out watching t.v., so I ended up working on wedding stuffs for about 4 hours! (I live for lists!)
Woke up this morning to over 6 inches and it wasn't stopping,..so, we stayed in again today. So much for a weekend away, but I'm glad I brought my wedding notebook!!

Hope everyone who has bad weather is safe and everyone off Monday enjoys the extra time off!!
