Menu Cards

I'm creating menu cards for my wedding since its a buffet-style dinner. I'd like for them to know what the choices are ahead of time. My question is, Should I order one for each adult or one per pair? I can't remember if I've seen them on each guest's plate or per couple...HELP! :)

    K and I went to a wedding not too long ago and we each had a menu. They also include the thanks to the parents and family, their favor (donation) and some other stuff (can't remember what, wish I had saved it!)

    Definitely one on each guests plate... I think it would look weird to have them only on certain plates...especially since not everyone will have a date so it would look uneven...
