I was just reading this article about newly opened Carmine's having nine private dining rooms. Might make a nice reception venue.

Re: Carmines - another private dining possibility

  • We love the Carmines that is in New York, so if anyone is really into Italian, I bet this place is going to give the other places (Trevi, Maggianos, etc) a run for its money!
  • We booked dinner there for after our ceremony (we both got sick when we tried out Trevi in April, so that was out lol). We're from NJ so it was a no brainer that our families would both enjoy Italian.
The private room for 30 people had a F&B min that was out of the budget ($3500 +8.1% sales tax, 18% tip & 3% administrative charge), but our event coordinator, Tara, is awesome and was gracious enough to request putting us on the 2nd floor so it would be a little more semi-private. I have information if anyone is interested, and apologize in advance if I don't respond promptly, I'm new here :)
  • That sounds great, I was in Vegas last month for my wedding and I walked past Carmines a few times, wondering why they weren't opened, then saw the article above. I would have liked to go it looks really nice.
  • Hey jenni can u share info. Do they just let u walk in and order from the menu or is there a group menu
  • Would love to know a bit more please @jennisurf??
  • Sorry! I just saw this, I don't check in everyday. There are different packages to choose. We went with the cheapest ($48/pp), which is still a lot of food. You choose: 2 appetizers, 2 pastas, 2 entrees, 1 side dish, and 2 desserts-- all to be served family style. The menus go upwards from there adding more choices (steak, veal, shrimp, etc.) Also different bar packages from non alcoholic, beer/wine/soda (we chose this at $25/pp), or a full bar.

**Prices could have changed, but I'm not sure, we only booked it last month. HTH
