The story behind these three images...
First is the picture of my dress. Pretty much ever since I had gotten the dress, I envisioned the earrings to go with it which is picture number 2 of the diamond shape.
I wanted to try on the earrings before purchasing, however they were not available at a store near me where I live in Texas. My fiance and I made a trip over the summer to New York and knowing there was a Saks there, we walked in together for me to purchase my wedding earrings. Unfortunately, they were not there. I showed the picture of the earrings to the sales lady who proceeded to tell me they didnt have them nor did she think they were appropriate earrings for my wedding. She then pulled out the third pair and exclaimed that these earrings were way more bridal appropriate. My fiance agreed with her. I figured since my fiance liked the earrings, that I should just get them.
However...I've been pretty upset about it ever since. Im not even sure anymore if the lady was just selling me on another pair of earrings. Whats wrong with the first pair? I absolutely LOVE them.
On top of this, we ended up going to a wedding over the summer and I saw a girl wearing the second pair of earrings as a guest. Gosh...if a guest can get away with wearing it to a wedding, then clearly they arent my definition as bridal earrings... I dont know. I'm just torn about the whole thing and felt like my fellow knot brides might understand and have some suggestion as to what I should do.
