Does the wedding party generally sit together or can they be scattered?

    It's your preference. You can do a head table, with the wedding party all together or have them scattered among other tables with a sweetheart table for you and the groom. I've seen both - it's really whatever you are more comfortable with!

    Ditto @davisse3. The only rule is that they must be seated with their SOs/dates.

    A Kings or Captain's table works too (where you have a long table for your WP plus thier SOs, seated on both sides of the table, not on a stage).

    As long as they're seated with their SOs or dates, where they sit is up to you.  There is no requirement that there be a "head table" where all the wedding party members sit with the couple.

    no reqiurement but if you are doing just a sweathearts table you need to sit any of those in the wp that have so together. i have such a huge party i am doing the sweathearts table and seeting everyone with the so
