Ring bearers and pillow

I have 2 ring bearers who are FI and my nephews.  I wasn't planning on having them carry a pillow down the aisle, esp. since the BM will have the rings.  Will it look weird if they walk down without holding anything?

    I don't think it will be weird at all. My aunt made me pillows and I was so overwhelmed before walking down the aisle I forgot to give them to the boys! But our two ring bearers walked in with our two younger bridesmaids. Their cuteness was enough to distract the guests away from there being nothing in their hands! ;)

    I think it's fine, but why have them be ring bearers if they're not evening pretending to? List them as pages then.

    Agreed with PP. My fiance made our ring bearer pillow though and of course, my nephew won't have the real rings and not really sure if he will actually make it down the aisle, but we only spent $6 on it, so no big.
