Looking at Valley of Fire wedding packages

Good afternoon!

My fiancé and I want to get married in Vegas and we want to partake in one of the Valley of Fire packages. I think I know which one I'd like to go with, but I was wondering if anyone here have dealt with them in any aspect.

They seem to be getting some pretty solid and glowing reviews, but I'd like to talk with someone who has had first-hand experience with them. I've tried searching around theKnot.com to find info, but I gave up that effort Tongue Out

Thanks guys! I appreciate the help!

Re: Looking at Valley of Fire wedding packages

  • Welcome to the board! As far as I know I am currently the only active knottie on this board who is getting married at Valley of Fire. So yeah for you for joining my lonely club. My FI and I had originally looked at going with sceniclasvegasweddings as I love their photos; however, one big turn off for me was that they mention on their site they don't allow/like guests to take pictures. Our guests are paying a lot of money to see us getting married and I'm not going to deny them taking pictures. So FI and I decided instead of going with a wedding company we are putting it together ourselves. The permit for Valley of Fire is 200, there is a 50 photo tour fee, we are paying 350 for our pastor and then we booked Bentley and Wilson for 6 hrs to take pictures for 800 tax included...this way I get reception pictures as well. Check out my bio or sent me a private message and I will help you as much as I can.
  • Hey, thanks for getting back to me! It is greatly appreciated!

Yeah, guests not being allowed to take photos would be a major turn off. My mother is the back-up photographer for me :P

That is a really good idea arranging the whole ceremony yourself! I think I will look into that option too!

My fiance and I really wanted to get married in Vegas, but I didn't really want all the cheesiness associated with getting married in a chapel in some hotel on the Strip. I was tempted, but the Valley of Fire is so much more awesome and original. I'm surprised there aren't any more people on this board going that route. Seems amazing!
  • Go to vegasgrooms sticky note at thet top of the board, he has composed a fabulous list of reviews and resources from knotties.
In addition to what I've mentioned up top, we will be booking a big bus to transport guests from the hotel to ceremony and back. How many guests are you planning on?
You will find that this board is awesome - even though most are getting married in a chapel on the strip or in a hotel, the meet and greet & reception venus plus entertainment info that I've received from this board is priceless.
I fell in love with the venue - it's not traditional - its romantic but not cheesy.
When are you planning on getting married?
Let me know if you need anything - I'll be glad to forward you what I have.
  • Well, so far, we have 40 people (inluding myself and the fiance) and we are planning to go in November 2013. And I'll check out the sticky note that you mentionned. How much doyou think renting a bus for the guests would be? We don't have a huge budget, which is why we opted to look a wedding company.
  • The bus will be around 640. Keep in mind that you still need to provide transportation for your guests even if you go with a wedding company, since most of the time they only provide one limo, which at the most seats a total of 10 people.
  • Hi
We are looking into getting married in the Valley of Fire as well, did already get married there? If so, any advice? Not sure if it's possible to organise it all separately so it works out cheaper what do you think? It would just be the 2 of us thanks
  • Hi thanks for the link will check it out. Have a good day
  • Hi I had a look at your link. Sounds like you had an amazing day. One quick question. Did you use a wedding company to go to the Valley of Fire or did you organise it yourself? Any tips would be really appreciated. Thanks!
