New co-irker has been on vacation for ~3 weeks, and just came back today.
He's been on personal calls basically all morning (when not asking me how to do his job), and fortunately(?) for me, most of the conversation has been in English.
He was in the Middle East visiting his g/f of the past 9? months. He met her on his last trip there (visiting family?), and they have had a phone/online relationship since. He told me before the trip that was planning to propose, but it sounds like they had a massive fight, and possibly broke up. Apparently he made some comment about her clothes and moving to the US, and she blew up at him. There was something else about accusations of cheating. He keeps repeating " I was going to slap her so hard. she deserved it."
